This railway station comes under the South Central Railways administration. Some of the important trains that pass through this station are Vijaywada Vasco da Gama Express, Goa Express, Vasco da Gama Chennai Express, Londa Vasco da Gama Express and Vasco da Gama Kacheguda Express. There are several tourist taxi and auto services available outside the railway station. This station is situated in the heart of the city and hence there are several hotel near the Vasco railway station.
