Vasco Da Gama Railway station is also a big railway station. This railway station is cleaner then the Madgao railway station. This railway station comes under the South Central Railways administration. Some of the important trains that pass through this station are Vijaywada Vasco da Gama Express, Goa Express, Vasco da Gama Chennai Express, Londa Vasco da Gama Express and Vasco da Gama Kacheguda Express. There are several tourist taxi and auto services available outside the railway station. Ticket Reservation Procedure at Goa Railway Stations

One can reserve the tickets at these railway stations or you can also book your ticket online on the Indian railways website. Tickets booked online are know as e-tickets are are accepted in the train. You do not have to redeem an original ticket at the railway station for an e-ticket. In case you are not able to reserve in advance you can always opt for the tatkal reservations. The tatkal reservation open up 24 hours prior to the trains journey. All trains have a certain quota of seats reserved under the tatkal scheme.

The non a/c trains do not offer any additional services besides the travel. Food and beverages are available ample with the vendors who keep moving between the train compartment. You can purchase from these vendors.

In the a/c trains they provide a blanket, bedsheets and pillows. The blankets, bed sheets and pillows provided are quiet clean. The toilets of the a/c section is cleaner compared to that in the non a/c section.
