About Siridao Beach , Siridao, Goa
Siridao beach is situated near the Zuari estuary and well known for pearl and oyster rich shore. One will enjoy the drive from the main road towards the beach. Either sides of the roads are covered with lush trees. Siridao beach is known for the Jesus of Nazareth Chapel where thousands of devotees from all over Goa flock during the feast that is held on the first week of Easter.One can also see the chapel of the Holy Souls here that was built in 1973. This was designed by Lucio Miranda a well known architect and for its long life the chapel is sanctified by the faithfuls with ten lakh Hail Marys.
The Siridao beach is a rocky and sandy beach where one can see some mysterious caves. At the entrance of the Siridao Village in Goa one can see three stone carved statues playing Musical instruments with a dog. Here is preserved the testimony of a huge man like creature who once inhabited the place and who was locally nicknamed ‘Paulist’.
