Splashdown is located in Anjuna and is just a 20 minute ride from Panaji, the capital of Goa. The water park is a total fun zone for everybody; from grandparents to the grandkids, it’s party time for one and all!
Toddlers can go straight to the Curly Wurly, a completely safe ride for the little ones. It has 1 ½ foot deep Tad Pool, meant to give them a secure feel of the water and have fun splashing about.
The Yee Haa, Caterpillar and the Tiger’s Tail are for kiddies who are yet to join the family slides. Yee Haa is a short drop into a pool, sliding kids to into the water with a slight splash! Caterpillar is good fun for the brave hearts, as they take the bend in their stride while it gives them enough time to enjoy the ride. The black and yellow tube goes round the Peepal Tree taking the gleefully yelling kids round the cruise through the tube as they land in the water!
For those of you who are yet to conjure up enough courage to experience the thrills of the long slides, Family Flume is the answer to your prayers. A gentle board slide where friends and family can come down together holding hands as they land into the shallow pool.
If you belong to the bold, adventure seeking group, you are sure to fall for the Twister, Awesome 3some, the Zoom Flume. The air filled inflatable floats of Zoom Flume, are available in single or double sizes, carrying you down 350 ft through the tube. It’s a fantastic ride especially if you get to do so with your kids, yelling together!
It is the Twister which takes ones breath away as they ride through the crazy turns of the fall. You will gain speed as you come sliding before you land gently into to water. The Boomerang is a fantastic ride; it gives you the feel of a pendulum as you keep going from one end to the other, till you come to a halt at the base.
Flippy and Aqua Dance are for real good fun for everyone. Flippy, the giant fish, will really take you by surprise, spurting out a belly full of water on unsuspecting occupants lounging about casually in the lovely blue waters. Flippy has the last laugh! One can only get to hear laughter around the pool.
It is delightful to watch the big kids dancing away in the enclosure at the Aqua Dance. It’s a great way to show your moves while it rains.
Once happy and content with all the activities tried and tested, it’s time to fill out out at the REPAST Bar n Restaurant. Bask in the sun while you get to sip on a nice cool drink, watching the others make their way to the pools and rides. Splashdown Water Park is a great place to come to and have a blast!
